Halloween

By Dylan Wang

Outside, the sky was clear and blue.  It was the day before Halloween, and Phoebe was more excited than ever. She would dance, sing, and play with her cute, black kitten, Boba.

“It’s time to do your ten exercises of math!” shouted Mrs. Lee.

“Stop teasing! It’s only five!!!” screamed Phoebe.

“Well, no matter how many exercises it is, I still want you to finish it!” shouted Mrs. Lee.

“Fine!” cried Phoebe.

Each exercise took her about ten minutes to finish. Phoebe’s mom closed the doors and something felt wrong. Normally, Boba is really loud and distracting, but it was just silence. All of a sudden, something that sounded like a plate dropping on the floor was continuously making noises. Mrs. Lee ran downstairs to check what was going on.

“Oh my badness, Boba!! AHH AHH AHHHHH What have you done?! screamed Mrs. Lee.

PZEMNBOMAKDKGJKJERLAYAP!

Soon, Phoebe realized that Boba had been throwing knives all over the place.

“AHH! AHHH!” screamed Mrs. Lee while Boba was throwing daggers, machetes, and knives at her.

Phoebe opened the door. As soon as Mrs. Lee ran in the room, she closed the door behind her, as if the world was ending outside their room.

“Boba is still throwing daggers into that gap on the door! She’s can’t be that smart!” shouted Phoebe.

Mrs. Lee blocked the gap with heavy tape rolls and staples.

“Boba is going completely NUTS,” said Mrs. Lee, panting.

“Are we just going to spend our entire life here?” asked Phoebe.

“Yes,” replied Mrs. Lee.

“Where do we get food?” asked Phoebe.

“We order, climb out of the window, get the order, come back in,” replied Mrs. Lee.

“We also have to close the window, right?” asked Phoebe.

“Yes,” replied Mrs. Lee.

Two minutes later, the two fell asleep, soon to find themselves outside of the house in front of Boba.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!” screamed Mrs. Lee, while getting torn apart by Boba’s daggers.

Run. Run. Run. Phoebe’s legs and heart and mind were racing each other as she was running. Soon she was able to make it to a place far enough from Boba.  She realized it was Halloween and the world was going to end.

The End.
